Mindful Mentors supports children, young people and families through gentle, trauma-aware and neurodiversity-affirming NDIS support. Our mission is simple: to help every person move toward their own version of growth, confidence and wellbeing — whatever their goals may be.

Created and run by Laura Pitt — counsellor, consultant and disability support practitioner — Mindful Mentors offers warm, person-centred sessions that honour each child’s strengths, needs and lived experience. I’m deeply passionate about access and inclusion, and I believe every young person deserves spaces where they feel understood, supported and genuinely included.

I work closely with families, support coordinators and multidisciplinary teams to build emotional regulation, independence, motor confidence, social connection and practical everyday skills.

Alongside individual support, I also offer in-service wellbeing events and consulting for kindergartens, schools and councils, helping teams strengthen emotional education, inclusion and trauma-aware practice.

Mindful Minds acknowledges the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live. We honour their Elders past and present, and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
